Good governance and users' participation in public water supply management in urban and peri-urban zones from developing countries
This study tries to formulate an answer to the question "How the public sector can cooperate with the users in the South for a good water management". Several challenges and approaches of user participation are also discussed. This study analyses a number of interesting examples of good management, with an active participation of the users: Porto Alegre (Brazil), Itagua (paraguay), Lusaka (Zambia) and Santa Cruz (Bolivië).
