Willingness to pay for arsenic-free, safe drinking water in Bangladesh
Resumen:
This report examines people's willingness to pay for arsenic-free safe drinking water options in rural Bangladesh, the factors that influence the demand for these options (particularly the demand for piped water supply), and the preferences for various household/community-based arsenic mitigation technologies. This study uses a contingent valuation methodology to assess household preferences and willingness to pay for arsenic-free drinking water.
